Program Description:
Global Initiatives Common Scholarship Application

The Global Initiatives Common Scholarship Application enables you to complete one application and be considered for all scholarships for which you qualify.  Students studying abroad at MUDEC or on Faculty-Led, Exchange (semester only), or Co-Sponsored (semester only) programs are eligible for scholarship assistance. Miami scholarships cannot be used for Approved programs.

Unless otherwise indicated, scholarships will require both academic merit (2.5+ GPA) and financial need (as determined by FAFSA) to qualify.  Some scholarships have additional eligibility criteria. See descriptions below for details. Preference will be given to students who have not previously studied abroad or away.

PLEASE NOTE: Scholarship assistance is not guaranteed. Amounts of scholarships awarded vary by year depending on available funding. Students receiving donor-based study abroad scholarships will be expected to send a thank-you letter to the donor of their scholarship.
