SUMMER IN CYPRUS
HEALTH MANAGEMENT
OVERVIEW

This program is a great option for students who want to undertake a comparative study of health care systems and the role that ethics, policy and culture play in managing care.

The course includes site visits to public and private hospitals and clinics where students will interact with healthcare professionals.

Health Management students will take a European Cultures course to reinforce comparative and cultural learnings.

Courses

Students enroll in 2 Courses and earn 6 Credits for this 4-Week Summer Program:

  • HS-215A: Management of Care (3 Credit Hours)
  • EUS-210: European Cultures (3 Credit Hours)
Site Visits

The program includes site-visits that will complement classroom teaching. Site visits may include:


Visits to Public & Private Hospitals and Clinics around the country to compare and contrast Socialized vs. Privatized Medicine, European Union vs. US Healthcare Systems, interaction with healthcare professionals.
