Literary London offers a selection of literature/creative writing courses designed especially to be taught in London by our own Miami faculty. We provide a rich, fully integrated cultural and academic program that has been a major highlight of many students’ Miami experience since 2006. Students can choose from a variety of courses, from Shakespeare on the London stage to writing about London and learning about international publishing. We visit important cultural heritage sites, theaters, museums, special exhibitions, readings, and Stratford-upon-Avon, making London our classroom for 6 weeks! We offer a highly competitive package, including day trips and overnight trips, and accommodations in modern, fully equipped flats located in the heart of Central London. Classes meet Tuesday-Thursday. Open to all majors. 7 credits satisfy MP credits, ENG and ED major/minor req’s and the Global Perspectives Req. Internships in London-based businesses, including publishing companies, are also now available.
