The Cincinnati Immersion Week connects a wide array of our diverse students to global brands and a number of marketing and business analytics practitioners. The program provides a structured, multiday opportunity for them to:

  • Visit multi-national Fortune 500 companies and earn valuable insight into their industries
  • Meet and talk with a broad range of executives, associates and recent graduates
  • Learn about the depth and breadth of career paths in these areas
  • Build networks with Miami alumni and other professionals

In some cases transportation to and from partnering firms will be provided. In many instances we will walk from our hotel to the firms. It is important to bring the appropriate clothing and outerwear for walking around Cincinnati in mid-January. If you qualify for disability accommodations alternate transportation will be provided.

ACCOMODATIONS Miami University and participating partners will subsidize a significant portion of the hotel* accommodation on a dual occupancy basis.  *Hotel located in downtown Cincinnati, TBD.

FEES $200 plus all other incidental room charges such as telephone, room service, premium television, and damages.  Bring a charge card with you; you will need it to check in.   Although the program may provide some meals, you will largely be responsible for both food and intra-city transportation. Some students prefer to use “Uber”/taxi rather than walk to locations. Taxi fees are the responsibility of the students.

DRESS CODE Most scheduled events will be business casual. Some event will be business professional. Plan your attire selection accordingly.

SCHEDULE The tentative schedule is provided. *Note, we are consistently working with partner organizations and this schedule will vary to accommodate emerging developments.
